By accessing or using our website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and any other policies referenced herein. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use our website or services.

Please read these Terms carefully before using our services. Your attention is particularly drawn to the disclaimers in Section 1 and the fee structure, contract period, and refund policy in Section 4.

1. Our Service: VR/5 Vehicle History Report & Vehicle Search Subscription

Important Disclaimer:

vehiclesreportsservices.co.uk provides a VR/5 Report, which is a vehicle history report for the vehicle registration requested. This site does NOT tax your vehicle.

We are not the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA) or any other government agency, nor are we affiliated with them. We are an independent, private service provider.

Our service does not facilitate the purchase or renewal of vehicle road tax. To tax your vehicle directly, please go to www.gov.uk/vehicle-tax.

Our service package comprises:

a) Initial VR/5 Vehicle History Report: This service includes the generation, and delivery of an initial vehicle history report (VR/5 Report) based on the vehicle registration mark (VRM) you provide at the time of purchase.

b) Vehicle Search Subscription: This is a mandatory recurring monthly subscription that commences upon your initial purchase. This service stores securely your original VR5 Report for any future recall you may have if you have not stored securely and provides you with access to one additional vehicle report search per calendar month for a contract period of 12 calendar months.

These reportsare designed to provide you with historical information about a specific vehicle, which may include details such as:

• Vehicle road tax charges and payment options.
• Vehicle make, model, and colour.
• MOT status and history.
• Tax status (as publicly available data, but we do not action tax for you).
• Scrap markers (if applicable).
• Other publicly accessible vehicle data.

2. Eligibility

By using our website and services, you represent and warrant that you are:

• At least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract.
• Providing accurate, current, and complete information as required to generate your initial report and utilize your monthly report searches.
• Aware that our service provides vehicle history reports and a monthly search allowance and is not a service for purchasing or renewing vehicle tax.
• Agreeing to a 12-month minimum contract period for the Vehicle Search Subscription.

3. User Responsibilities

As a user of our service, you agree to:

• Provide Accurate Information: You are solely responsible for ensuring that the vehicle registration mark (VRM) you provide for any report generation is accurate. We cannot be held responsible for reports generated based on incorrect VRMs supplied by you.
• Understand Service Scope: You understand and acknowledge that our service is limited to providing VR/5 Vehicle History Reports and a monthly search allowance. You will not use our service with the expectation of purchasing vehicle tax or interacting with a government agency.
• Comply with Laws: You will use our services only for lawful purposes and in compliance with all applicable local, national, and international laws and regulations.
• Safeguard Account Information: If you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account login information and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
• Review Your Reports: You must carefully review your VR/5 Reports upon receipt for accuracy based on the VRM you provided.

4. Fees, Payments, Contract Period, and Refund Policy

Service Fee Structure: When you purchase our service, you agree to the following charges:

• Advance Payment: An initial advance payment of £17.85 will be charged immediately. This payment covers your first VR/5 Vehicle History Report and initiates your Vehicle Search Subscription.
• Monthly Subscription: Thereafter, a recurring monthly subscription fee of £7.99 will be charged to your chosen payment method for access to one additional report search per calendar month representing a discounted rate of c. 45% to that of the initial vehicle report search.
• Bank Statement Descriptor: Please note that the descriptor for these transactions on your bank statement will appear as vehicledebit.co.uk.This is to transparently support any cancelation you may wish to make, seeSubscription Cancellation section further in these terms.
• Contract Period: This subscription operates on a 12-calendar month contract period, commencing from the date of your initial advance payment. Your chosen payment method will be charged each month during this period unless you cancel as specified below.
• Payment: All payments must be made in advance. Your chosen payment method will be charged as indicated. You agree to pay all applicable fees and taxes.
• Payment Processing: Payments are processed securely by third-party payment processors. We do not store your full payment card details.
• Report Delivery & Subscription Activation: Upon successful processing of your advance payment and the VRM you provide, your initial VR/5 Report will be generated and delivered to you electronically (e.g., via email or a secure download link) within the timeframe specified on our website, typically immediately. Concurrently, your Vehicle Search Subscription will be activated, granting you access to your first monthly additional report search.

Refund Policy for Advance Payment & Initial Report:

• Report Not Generated: If, for any technical reason on our part, we are unable to generate or deliver your initial VR/5 Report after successful advance payment and a valid VRM submission, you will be entitled to a full refund of the £17.85 advance payment. This is monitored and refunds are automated.
• Report Generated and Delivered: Once your initial VR/5 Report has been generated and delivered to you, our service for this initial report is deemed complete, and the £17.85 advance payment is non-refundable. As the service is immediate there is no applicable legislation for a 14-day cooling off period. If you have bought in genuine error and advise us within 14 days, we will accept this request and process a full refund.

However, this policy applies even if:

• The report contains information you already knew.
• The report does not contain specific information you expected, provided that the data available is consistent with a standard vehicle history report from publicly available sources.
• You mistakenly believed our service would allow you to tax your vehicle.
• You provided an incorrect VRM, and a report was generated for that incorrect VRM.

• Errors on Our Part: If we generate an initial report that demonstrably does not correspond to the VRM you correctly provided (e.g., due to a system error on our end), we will re-generate and deliver the correct report at no additional charge. If a correct report cannot be generated, we may offer a full refund of your £17.85 advance payment at our discretion.

Subscription Cancellation for Vehicle Search Subscription (12-Month Contract):

You may cancel your Vehicle Search Subscription at any time by visiting vehicledebit.co.uk where you can execute your monthly additional VR5 or by following the instructions to cancel immediately. You can also cancel your monthly contract or report by sending an email to info@vehiclesreportsservices.co.uk.

Important: This subscription has a 12-calendar month contract duration. However, you can cancel at any time without any financial penalties. Cancelation requests will be completed next business day and confirmed by email.

Upon cancellation, your access to the monthly report searches will cease at the end of the billing cycle for which you have last paid. No pro-rata refunds will be provided for partial months; no refunds will be provided for previous months whether service was used or not.

After the initial 12-month contract period, your subscription automatically stops and the contract completes.

5. Data Sources and Accuracy of Information

Our VR/5 Reports and Vehicle Search Subscription utilize data from various publicly accessible databases and official sources.

While we strive for accuracy, we rely on the information provided by these third-party data sources. We cannot guarantee the absolute completeness, accuracy, or up-to-datedness of the information contained within any VR/5 Report or provided via the Vehicle Search Subscription, as data updates are beyond our direct control.

We are not responsible for any inaccuracies or omissions in the reports or search results that originate from the underlying third-party data sources.

6. Intellectual Property Rights

All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, images, software, and the compilation thereof, and the format and content of the VR/5 Reports and Vehicle Search Subscription interface, is our property or the property of our licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use our website and services, and to use the VR/5 Reports and Vehicle Search Subscription solely for your personal or internal business use, strictly in accordance with these Terms, and for the duration of your paid subscription.

You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, display, perform, or create derivative works from any part of our website or services, or alter any VR/5 Report or Vehicle Search Subscription interface, without our prior written consent.

7. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

• Use our website or services for any unlawful purpose or in any way that violates any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation.
• Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.
• Engage in any conduct that restricts or inhibits anyone's use or enjoyment of the website, or which, as determined by us, may harm us or users of the website, or expose them to liability.
• Introduce any viruses, Trojan horses, worms, logic bombs, or other material that is malicious or technologically harmful.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to, interfere with, damage, or disrupt any parts of the website, the server on which the website is stored, or any server, computer, or database connected to the website.
• Misrepresent the nature of our VR/5 Reports or Vehicle Search Subscription as an official government document or as a means to tax a vehicle.

OUR WEBSITE AND SERVICES, INCLUDING THE VR/5 REPORTS AND VEHICLE SEARCH SUBSCRIPTION, ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ACCURACY OF INFORMATION. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT OUR SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR FREE FROM VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS. WE MAKE NO WARRANTY OR REPRESENTATION REGARDING THE COMPLETENESS, ACCURACY, OR RELIABILITY OF THE INFORMATION CONTAINED WITHIN ANY VR/5 REPORT OR PROVIDED VIA THE VEHICLE SEARCH SUBSCRIPTION, AS IT IS DERIVED FROM THIRD-PARTY SOURCES.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL WE, OUR AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, SUPPLIERS, OR LICENSORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM (I) YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF OR INABILITY TO ACCESS OR USE THE WEBSITE OR SERVICES; (II) ANY CONDUCT OR CONTENT OF ANY THIRD PARTY ON THE WEBSITE; (III) ANY CONTENT OBTAINED FROM THE WEBSITE; (IV) UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS, USE, OR ALTERATION OF YOUR TRANSMISSIONS OR CONTENT; OR (V) ANY DECISIONS MADE OR ACTIONS TAKEN BY YOU BASED ON THE INFORMATION PROVIDED IN ANY VR/5 REPORT OR VIA THE VEHICLE SEARCH SUBSCRIPTION, OR YOUR MISTAKEN BELIEF THAT OUR SERVICE TAXES YOUR VEHICLE. THIS APPLIES WHETHER BASED ON WARRANTY, CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, WHETHER OR NOT WE HAVE BEEN INFORMED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF OUR SERVICES, REGARDLESS OF THE FORM OF THE ACTION, IS LIMITED TO THE SUM OF (A) THE INITIAL £17.85 ADVANCE PAYMENT YOU MADE, AND (B) ANY £7.99 MONTHLY SUBSCRIPTION FEES PAID FOR THE VEHICLE SEARCH SUBSCRIPTION IN THE THREE (3) MONTHS IMMEDIATELY PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

10. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless us, our affiliates, licensors, and service providers, and our and their respective officers, directors, employees, contractors, agents, licensors, suppliers, successors, and assigns from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to your violation of these Terms or your use of the website or services, including, but not limited to, your submissions, any use of the website's content, services, and products other than as expressly authorized in these Terms, or your misrepresentation of our service or report.

11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action or proceeding arising under these Terms will be brought exclusively in the courts located in England and Wales. You hereby consent to the personal jurisdiction and venue therein.

12. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

13. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any other policies published on our website, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding your use of our website and services.

14. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will make reasonable efforts to provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion. By continuing to access or use our service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
